What are the benefits of your coaching services?

They are different for each client, depending on their goals, needs and circumstances. In addition to an ideal job and career, the benefits I consistently see for my clients are:

 

  • Clearer goals and self-insights. It is fascinating to see some clients reassess or even redefine their goals during coaching, because they have learned more about themselves and they now understand what they want in life and work better.

  • Self-confidence. Many clients told me I really helped them recognise and better articulate their strengths and skills. Some said they wouldn’t have applied for and got their dream job if they didn’t talk to me. This self-confidence is so powerful as it can help them tackle many other challenges at work and in life. The benefits of a few hours of coaching can be lifelong!

  • Motivation. Many clients think their goal is too big. They don’t know where to start, and nothing happens. I help them think through the actions they need to take, and the relevant timeline and sequencing. By breaking down a goal into bite-sized chunks and coming up with an action plan, suddenly it feels very achievable and clients are motivated to take action!

  • Reassurance. Making big career and life decisions can be scary, such as whether one should leave their current job, go back to study or migrate to Australia! By going through their thought process and considerations, clients can reassure themselves that they are making the right and best decision for themselves!​​​​​​

A, who originally worked as a chef, realised that the hospitality industry was not their lifelong passion, and that the physically demanding nature of the job might not be sustainable in the long term. This prompted A to seriously consider their long-term career goals. Having heard that public sector jobs in Australia offer good salaries and benefits, A decided to explore this career path. However, without any prior administrative experience in Australia, A lacked confidence in their ability to make the career switch.

With Benson’s coaching, A was able to effectively recognise and sell the transferrable skills they gained from various jobs in both Taiwan and Australia, and successfully secured a permanent position in the public sector!

After coming to Australia on a working holiday visa, B enjoyed their life here very much and began exploring the possibility of migration. Without a university degree in Taiwan and with limited English skills, B lacked confidence in the idea of studying in Australia as a pathway to skilled migration. On top of that, B felt lost when trying to balance financial needs, personal interests, and the chances of successfully migrating, unsure of what the next step should be.

With Benson’s coaching, B was able to clarify their personal goals and identify the most suitable study pathway. B successfully graduated while managing financial needs, and ultimately obtained permanent residency in Australia!

C, who already had extensive work experience in Australia, approached Benson for support in pursuing a leadership role. Within just about a month, C secured four interview opportunities, received two job offers, and was in the talent pool for the other two!
